- X-rays and professional cleaning — A dental team member will take a complete set of x-rays to help us diagnose any dental conditions that may be present between your teeth or in areas that are difficult to see. Then, they’ll clean your teeth, removing any plaque and tartar.
- Initial examination — Next, we will begin a comprehensive dental exam. We’ll perform an oral cancer screening and use special instruments to examine your teeth and gums. This examination helps us detect tooth decay, gum disease, and other potential dental concerns.
- Treatment planning — Once your dental exam is complete, we’ll discuss your oral health and design a treatment plan with your needs in mind. If there aren’t any immediate concerns, we’ll ask you to return in 6 months for a routine exam and cleaning. However, if you have more immediate concerns, we’ll discuss the treatment timeline and costs with you, addressing any concerns you may have.
