Dr. Saba Heday, D.D.S., M.S.
Cosmetic and Family Dentist

Dr. Saba Heday, an Arizona native, takes pride in caring for the dental needs of her community. She has been practicing in the valley since 2012.
Dr. Heday takes a minimalistic approach to solving difficult problems, a skill she cultivated while earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Dr. Heday knew she wanted to be a dentist since she was 9 years old. However, her love of mathematics drew her to pursue engineering first. She received her BSEE from Arizona State University with honors in 2004, where she studied quantum mechanics and early quantum computers. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University, her research focusing on computational methods to study the immune system.
Dr. Heday then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California in San Francisco, one of the most esteemed research facilities in the country, where she researched the effects of laser treatment on tooth bonding. She subsequently completed her General Practice Residency at San Diego VA Medical Center, where she managed patients with complex medical conditions and gained a deep appreciation of the sacrifice our veterans make to keep our country safe.
Dr. Heday believes in constant learning. She keeps herself informed of new research and technology to provide the most effective conservative treatment for her patients. She is a member of Arizona Dental Association and American Dental Association. She is a designated Sleep Oral Appliance Provider through her mastery training and membership with American Academy of Sleep Dental Medicine. Dr. Heday loves creating confident natural smiles for her patients and works closely with some of the best ceramists and oral surgeons in town to obtain the best results.
When she’s not providing exceptional dentistry to her community, Dr. Heday enjoys dabbling in the arts. Whenever she has a pen and paper on hand, she can be found drawing or writing, and she also loves painting and photographing her family and the stunning Arizona landscape. Along with her husband and two children, Dr. Heday enjoys exploring the great outdoors by camping, hiking, and traveling. Her family also enjoys playing with their beloved pug Hamlet.
Diane Tagye, R.D.A.
Patient Coordinator
Diane has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident in any procedure they need or choose to have. She is passionate about comforting patients and serving as their advocate.
What Diane loves most about Dynamite Smiles Dentistry is the doctor. In her own words:
“I have worked with many doctors in my career. Dr. Heday is not only one of the most knowledgeable, but she is by far the most authentic and sincere I have had the pleasure of working with. In her free time, Diane enjoys spending time with her family. She appreciates the beautiful landscape of Scottsdale and the surrounding areas, and she loves to hike and explore. She also enjoys traveling and learning about the foods and cultures of different cities and countries.
Diane is a great listener who takes the time to address any questions or concerns patients may have. She strives to provide helpful guidance and support in a way that is beneficial to each individual. Diane is kind, understanding, and compassionate toward her patients’ needs.

Ruth Villa-Valenzuela
Treatment and Insurance Coordinator Agent
Ruth has been helping patients navigate their dental insurance for over 16 years. Her entry into the field was unexpected: sixteen years ago, her sister-in-law needed time away from work while preparing for a baby, and Ruth volunteered to help. She immediately fell in love with the work—and the rest is history.
Ruth is dedicated to helping patients achieve their dental goals by maximizing their insurance benefits, ensuring they can receive the care they need without undue financial stress.
What she loves most about Dynamite Smiles Dentistry is the friendly, supportive environment. Every team member is treated with care and respect, and Ruth values the sense of fellowship and camaraderie throughout the office.
In her free time, Ruth enjoys spending time with her daughter, Mia. She is the calm and welcoming presence at the front desk, and you’ll immediately notice the warmth she brings when you visit our practice.
Haily Campbell, R.D.A.
Lead Dental Assistant
Haily has been in dentistry since early 2022 and earned her Registered Dental Assistant degree in Washington State.
She loves the hands-on aspect of dentistry and takes pride in improving one smile at a time. Haily is passionate about helping others and values the positive impact she sees in patients’ lives each day. Whether it’s enhancing a smile’s appearance or relieving pain, she believes her work has purpose and makes a meaningful difference.
Her favorite part of working at Dynamite Smiles Dentistry is the patients she meets every day. She enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life and finds it especially rewarding to support them in whatever their situation may be.
In her free time, Haily enjoys playing bass, making ceramics, knitting, painting, and cross-stitching.
To help patients feel comfortable when they enter the practice, Haily believes in being herself and taking the time to listen. She values understanding each patient’s unique situation and sees this as an important skill that continues to grow with experience
Shauna Gonda, R.D.A., E.F.D.A.
Registered Dental Assistant
With 38 years of experience in the dental field, Shauna’s passion for creating healthy, beautiful smiles is stronger than ever. Her journey began as a U.S. Army veteran, where she served as an expanded functions dental hygienist and developed comprehensive skills across all areas of dentistry.
For Shauna, dentistry is about more than just teeth—it’s about changing lives and building genuine connections with the people she meets. She truly loves the transformative power of a smile and the relationships she forms with every patient who walks through our doors.
She is thrilled to be part of the Dynamite Smiles Dentistry team! In her own words:

Outside the clinic, Shauna stays busy as a dental assistant instructor and Reiki practitioner, combining her love for teaching with a holistic approach to care. As a lifelong musician, she is always surrounded by music and cherishes traveling the world with her husband.

Erin Fine, R.D.H.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Erin has her RDH license in the state of Arizona and has been interested in dentistry since she was in college.
Erin’s parents both worked in the healthcare field and she saw the impact her family had on other people. Erin always looked up to her mom and dad and wanted to find a career that helped her make the same impact on people as her parents. Through high school and the start of college, Erin thought about becoming a nurse. After taking a couple of nursing courses, she realized nursing wasn’t the right fit for her, and then she found dental hygiene. Erin loves being a hygienist, every patient is different which makes every day an exciting experience.
Erin’s favorite thing about working at Dynamite Smiles Dentistry is her coworkers. She’s never met such a hardworking yet kind group of people. Everyone at Dynamite Smiles Dentistry wants the best for each patient.
In her free time, Erin loves to try out new coffee shops, thrift shops, and enjoys playing frisbee golf.
Erin’s first priority when it comes to dental hygiene is her patients. Erin makes sure that all concerns are acknowledged and validated and strives to make every patient’s visit at Dynamite Smiles Dentistry a positive one.
Rachel Ferguson, R.D.H.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Rachel is a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of Arizona and has been working in the dental field for approximately five years. She began her career as a hygiene assistant while preparing for dental hygiene school and went on to complete 1.5 years of study at Rio Salado College. From a young age, Rachel knew she wanted to become a dental hygienist, inspired by her two aunts who share the same profession. Her passion for dentistry has continued to grow through her education and hands-on experience.
What Rachel enjoys most about dentistry is the opportunity to meet the individual needs of each patient she treats. She values building meaningful relationships and working together with her patients to achieve both oral and overall health.
Her favorite part of working at Dynamite Smiles Dentistry is the people she works with each day. She feels fortunate to be part of such a kind, hardworking team, as well as to care for the wonderful patients she sees daily.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys traveling whenever she can, attending concerts, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Jennifer Thomas, D.D.S.
Dental Hygienist
Jennifer’s journey in dentistry began with a strong family influence; her father, a highly respected dentist in Southern California, served as her mentor and inspiration. Jennifer earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2000 as well as her Bachelor in Science in Gerontology in 1995 from the University of Southern California. She has been in the dental field for over 25 years and practiced both dentistry and dental hygiene in Southern California prior to relocating to Cave Creek, Arizona.
Jennifer focuses solely on dental hygiene now and believes there is a direct correlation between oral health and the overall health of the body. She also believes dental hygiene goes beyond oral health – it’s about building trust, fostering confidence, making patients feel truly care for.
When Jennifer is not helping patients achieve healthy, clean smiles, she spends most of her time with family, friends, and her two golden retrievers. She enjoys games of every kind, especially escape rooms. Jennifer is also busy exploring everything that Arizona has to offer.
Jennifer is excited to bring her talents to Dynamite Smiles Dentistry. She strives to listen to patient’s individualized needs as well as bring patients to their optimized oral health in a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
